Lidiya Kulekova is a dramatic actress and singer. She studied acting in the classes of Prof. Stefan Danailov at the Bulgarian National Academy of Theater and Film Art and with Prof. Tsvetana Maneva at the New Bulgarian University. Along with her studies at the Academy as an actress, Lidia participated in the master classes of Petar Danailov, Genko Geshev and Francesca Pedachi and took private lessons in opera singing with Lucy Zaharieva, Maria Stoyanova, conductor Mikhail Angelov, soprano Celia Alcedo in Madrid, Spain, Francesca Pedachi in Bologna, Italy and Carmen Bustamante in Barcelona, Spain. In December 2017, Lidiya Kulekova represented Bulgaria at the semi-finals of the IX International Opera Singing Competition "Ravelo, Citta de la Musica" in Italy. Lidia was part of the acting team of the "Channel Show" on BNT, has participated in numerous series, concert formats, advertising projects, stage appearances, and since the beginning of 2021 she has participated on the stage of the New Theater NDK in the first jazz opera with author Lubomir Denev and director Boyko Iliev.
